Job summary

Supaguard Fencing in Smithfield is seeking a reliable Fencing Products Storeperson to pick, pack, stage and load fencing orders for dispatch. This is a full‑time, day shift role based in Smithfield, NSW, and requires a LF forklift licence, strong attention to detail, and safe manual handling.

You will work with the warehouse team to ensure orders are prepared on time, accurately, and damage‑free, while maintaining tidy pick zones and stock locations.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or pick packing experience.
• Ability to read and follow pick slips and delivery dockets.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Forklift Licence (LF) required.
• Experience with fencing, building or construction materials advantageous.
• Understanding of WHS and safe manual handling practices.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders accurately using pick slips and delivery documentation.
• Prepare pallets, bundles and loose items for dispatch.
• Assist with loading company and contractor trucks safely and efficiently.
• Ensure orders are labelled correctly and staged for collection.
• Unload deliveries and store stock in correct warehouse locations.
• Restock pick areas and maintain an organised warehouse layout.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and follow WHS procedures.
• Maintain clean and safe pick zones, aisles and dispatch areas.
• Work with the warehouse team to meet daily dispatch targets.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable Fencing Products Storeperson to join our team in Smithfield.

About the Role

This role is responsible for accurately picking, packing, staging, and loading steel pipe & chainwire fencing roll orders for dispatch. You will play an important part in ensuring customer orders are prepared on time, accurately, and damage-free.

This is a hands‑on role requiring strong attention to detail, good teamwork, and a commitment to safety.
