Motion Health in Toorak is seeking a friendly Physiotherapy Receptionist for casual/part-time shifts. You will greet patients, manage calls and emails, book appointments and process payments in a supportive, patient‑centered team environment.

Physiotherapy Receptionist – Casual / Part-Time

Motion Health is seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Casual / Part-Time Physiotherapy Receptionist to join our welcoming team in Toorak. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care and thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

The position offers approximately 2–4 shifts per week, with the potential for additional hours as required.

About the role

As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you will help create a welcoming and positive clinic experience.

Key responsibilities

Welcoming patients and providing friendly, professional customer service

Managing telephone calls, emails and patient enquiries

Scheduling physiotherapy appointments and Clinical Pilates classes

Processing payments, private health insurance and Medicare claims

Maintaining accurate patient records in our practice management system

Supporting clinicians with day-to-day administration

Keeping the reception area and treatment rooms tidy, organised and welcoming

About you

Warm, approachable and professional, with excellent communication skills

Organised, reliable and attentive to detail

Confident with computers and comfortable learning new systems

Able to multitask, use initiative and work independently or in a team

Committed to excellent patient care and confidentiality

Previous medical or allied health reception experience is highly regarded but not essential

Experience with Nookal, HICAPS and Medicare claiming is an advantage; training will be provided

A friendly, supportive and professional team

Flexible casual or part-time work, approximately 2–4 shifts per week, with a possibility for additionally shifts.
