Job summary

RSL LifeCare is seeking a dedicated Physiotherapist for a permanent part-time role at ANZAC Village, Narrabeen, NSW. You will design, deliver and review client programs, collaborate with care teams and health professionals, and monitor treatment responses to adjust plans as needed.

The role requires APHRA-registered physiotherapy, current First Aid and CPR, at least 2 years’ experience in aged care, and a valid NSW driver’s license with insured vehicle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current APHRA Registration.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR Refresher.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position and environment, ideally a mid- large sized aged care facility.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English.
• Current NSW Drivers License, Fully Registered and Comprehensively Insured Car.

Responsibilities

• Designing, delivering and reviewing client programs and implementing individual treatment plans.
• Establishing goals in collaboration with the client.
• Liaise with the Registered Nurses, Allied Health Aides, care teams, visiting Medical Practitioners, other health care professionals.
• Monitor and re-assess client’s response to treatment and modify treatment appropriately.
• Running classes for residents like; Hydrotherapy pool, balance and stability sessions.
• Promote independence in activities of daily living for the clients or residents.
