RSL LifeCare Limited in Narrabeen, NSW is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist (15 hours per week, 8am–4pm Thursday and Friday) to design and review client programs and treatments across our aged care settings. You will collaborate with nurses, allied health staff and practitioners, monitor responses to treatment and promote residents' independence with goal-driven plans.

Applicants should have a Bachelor of Physiotherapy with APHRA registration, First Aid and CPR, and at least 2 years'

Competenze

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy and APHRA registration.
• Current First Aid Certificate and CPR refresher.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar aged care setting.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English and professional documentation.

Mansioni

• Design, deliver and review client programs and treatment plans.
• Set goals with clients and liaise with care teams and practitioners.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment as needed.
• Run classes for residents (Hydrotherapy, balance and strength).
• Promote independence in activities of daily living.

About the role:

As a Physiotherapist at RSL LifeCare, every day you’re empowered to make a meaningful difference to people’s lives. Within our supportive work environment your compassion is valued, and your professional development is prioritised.

• Designing, delivering and reviewing client programs and implementing individual treatment plans.
• Establishing goals in collaboration with the client.
• Liaise with the Registered Nurses, Allied Health Aides, care teams, visiting Medical Practitioners, other health care professionals.
• Monitor and re-assess client’s response to treatment and modify treatment appropriately.
• Running classes for residents like; Hydrotherapy pool, strong, balance and stable sessions
• Promote independence in activities of daily living for the clients or residents.

About You:

We are excited to hear from you about this role! We are looking out for:

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current APHRA Registration
• Current First Aid Certificate and Yearly CPR Refresher.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position and environment, ideally a mid - large sized aged care facility.
• Proficiency in written and verbal English
• Excellent clinical and assessment skills and professional documentation keeping skills
• An interest in working within a Home Care Setting
• Current NSW Drivers License, Fully Registered and Comprehensively Insured Car.
• Ability to obtain a Medicare provider number
