Job summary

Terry White Chemist Ryde is seeking a Retail Manager to lead daily store operations, deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales. You will manage stock, merchandising, rosters and staff development in a busy pharmacy environment.

You will partner with the Pharmacist Manager and owners to meet store objectives, coach a high-performing team, and ensure policies and compliance are followed, while maintaining a high standard of presentation.

Qualifications

• Senior retail experience.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
• Organised, proactive and able to multitask.
• Knowledge of stock management and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop the retail team.
• Drive sales, KPIs and overall store performance.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong customer relationships.
• Manage stock levels, merchandising, promotions and inventory.
• Monitor and improve department performance.
• Ensure the store is presented to a high standard at all times.
• Manage rosters and staff performance.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and staff training.
• Implement promotional campaigns and maximise sales opportunities.
• Monitor stock loss, short-dated stock and dead stock.
• Ensure store policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
• Work closely with the Pharmacist Manager and business owners to achieve store objectives.
