Job summary

Mayday Recruitment Group is partnering with a leading pet aftercare provider to recruit an Area Manager in Kanahooka. The role involves collecting pets from clinics and families and returning ashes after cremation services, with a focus on compassionate, professional customer service.

You will spend a lot of time on the road, building trusted relationships with veterinary clinics and delivering a premium experience during difficult times for families.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service focus.
• Experience in field service or relationship management.
• Current unrestricted driver’s licence required.
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 25 kg.
• Comfortable driving throughout the day.

Responsibilities

• Collecting pets from veterinary clinics and private residences.
• Returning ashes to families and veterinary clinics.
• Handling pets with dignity, care and respect at all times.
• Building and maintaining relationships with veterinary clinics.
• Providing compassionate and professional customer service to pet owners.
• Managing daily collection and delivery schedules.
• Maintaining accurate records and updating system information.
• Ensuring company vehicles are maintained to a high standard.
• Supporting the wider operations team as needed.
• Representing the business professionally within the community.
