Job summary

MAYDAY Recruitment is partnering with a respected organisation within the pet aftercare industry to recruit a compassionate Client Care Coordinator in Bayswater, WA. You will deliver premium customer service, heavy administration and hands-on pet aftercare in a busy, office-based environment.

This role involves supporting grieving clients, coordinating pet collections and viewings, and maintaining accurate records with care and empathy.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented, accurate and efficient with a substantial workload.
• Experience in veterinary or animal care is advantageous.
• Comfort with handling deceased pets for viewings.
• Able to balance compassion with professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Managing a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, email enquiries and online requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Supporting clients experiencing grief, providing compassionate service while maintaining professionalism.
• Accurate data entry, processing payments and maintaining client and veterinary clinic records.
• Coordinating pet collections, bookings and communication between clients, veterinary clinics and internal teams.
• Welcoming clients attending appointments to view their pets or collect their ashes.
• Preparing pets for viewings, including handling deceased animals with care.
• Preparing viewing rooms and ensuring high standards of hygiene, presentation and cleanliness.
• Identifying and escalating client concerns or operational issues as required.
