Job summary

Perth Airport is seeking a Field Services Technician to join the IT service delivery team in Australia. You will troubleshoot and resolve Tier I & II IT issues across desktops, smartphones, and AV systems, delivering prompt support through multiple channels.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, collaboration with internal teams, and detailed incident logging while contributing to ongoing service improvements. On-site work and a dynamic, 24/7 environment are part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience providing Tier I & II IT support across desktops, smartphones, and AV systems.
• Strong troubleshooting to resolve complex technical issues in stand-alone and networked environments.
• Proficient with SCCM, WSUS, and Intune for OS deployment and management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for IT support, delivering Tier I troubleshooting across multiple channels.
• Provide Tier II support resolving hardware, software, and IT systems issues.
• Maintain incident records in the Service Management Platform with follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams and escalate to SMEs as needed.
• Identify recurring issues and implement long-term solutions via problem management.
• Support change management initiatives to keep IT systems aligned with requirements.
