Alfa Laval in Perth is seeking a Field Sales Engineer for Process Heat Exchangers. You will identify and qualify market opportunities, build a strong sales pipeline, and translate customer needs into value-driven technical solutions.

You will collaborate with Sales, Design and Engineering to deliver demonstrations, proposals and timely quotations, maintaining profitability and a high level of customer satisfaction in industrial process equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar).
• 5+ years in technical sales, ideally in industrial process equipment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and business development skills.
• Knowledge in separation technologies will be an added advantage.

• Analyse market insights & customer buying behaviour; align sales plans with strategy.
• Identify, qualify, and manage market leads; build a healthy sales pipeline.
• Engage via customer visits and meetings to understand needs and demonstrate value.
• Develop tailored value-based proposals addressing requirements and differentiators.
• Review and negotiate commercial terms ensuring profitability and approvals.
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations adapting messaging to needs.
• Manage pipeline using CRM and digital tools for forecasting.
