Job summary

ECG Engineering is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer to join our Capital Project Works team based in Perth, WA, with occasional site visits to two WA gold mines. You will lead electrical and instrumentation design and manage external contractors to deliver project outcomes.

Qualifications

• Tertiary Qualifications in Electrical Engineering, preferably a bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience
• 3–5 years relevant industry experience involved in site based projects
• Drafting co ordination experience
• Excellent time management and organization skills
• Capability to manage multiple projects in accordance with agreed budgets and schedules

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical and instrumentation design for capital and maintenance projects
• Liaising with site for E&I compliance with regard to Project scopes
• Development of operational and capital project budgets
• Manage external electrical and instrumentation design consultants
• Ensure all design work conforms to all statutory requirements and applicable national standards
• Manage cost, schedule and scope for OPEX and CAPEX initiatives
• Provide engineering support and advice for electrical and instrumentation infrastructure across site
• Attend/Facilitate various Project meetings
• Compile responses to any technical queries raised from site in Project execution
