Job summary

The Technical and Engineering Network in Perth, WA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead electrical design across mining and process projects, from concept through commissioning.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, quality, and environmental requirements are met. The role offers hybrid work, competitive salary, and long-term career progression.

Based in Perth with flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 5+ years' consultancy experience in engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, LV/MV distribution and motor control.
• Experience with PLC, instrumentation and control systems.
• Proven ability to deliver concept and detailed electrical designs.

Responsibilities

• Developing and contributing to project scopes of work.
• Performing load calculations, short-circuit analysis and protection coordination.
• Developing concept and detailed electrical designs.
• Providing technical input through all project phases, from concept to commissioning.
• Integrating electrical, control and instrumentation with other disciplines.
• Mentoring junior engineers and leading projects.
