Job summary

Arcare Aged Care is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care for residents. The role focuses on preserving dignity, independence, and wellbeing through compassionate support and professional teamwork.

You will work with nurses and the care team, handling personal care, mobility, nutrition support, and documentation while contributing to a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.

About The Role

As a Personal Support Worker, you will deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
