Job summary

Arcare in Melbourne, Australia, is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care, enhancing residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, and documentation, and work closely with nurses and the care team in a supportive workplace.

The role offers permanent night shifts (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday, 22:00–07:00) with $36.23 p/h + Super + shift penalties where applicable.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent required.
• Friendly, compassionate, adaptable team player with excellent communication.
• Experience in aged care and assisting residents with daily living.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Support mobility and safe transfers.
• Assist residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitor and report changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintain accurate documentation.
• Work collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.
