Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Personal Support Worker to deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and social care that enhances residents’ dignity, independence, and wellbeing. The role balances compassionate caregiving with teamwork in a supportive aged care environment.

You will join a dedicated team across QLD with shifts AM, PM and night; great hourly rate plus penalties where applicable, and opportunities for ongoing training and development.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
• Passion for aged care and helping others.
• Friendly, compassionate, and adaptable team player.
• Great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care (showering, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Supporting mobility and safe transfers.
• Assisting residents with meals and dietary needs.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in health or behaviour.
• Maintaining accurate documentation.
• Working collaboratively with nurses and the wider care team.

Job Description
