Job summary

BlueCare, part of the UnitingCare family, is seeking a Personal Carer to support clients living in the community in Morayfield and surrounding areas. You will travel to clients' homes to assist with daily living tasks, provide compassionate care and follow individual care plans.

This casual role requires a Certificate III Aged Care/Individial Support or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and a roadworthy vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc
• Certificate III Aged Care, Individual Support or an equivalent qualification - Essential
• Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum) - Essential
• Roadworthy & insured vehicle to use for work- Essential
• Confidence to satisfy probity checks required by legislation or policies

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home personal care including assistance with daily living activities such as showering, meal prep, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Spend time on the road completing scheduled visits and support clients in their homes
• Support with community activities and arrange transportation/appointments

About the role:

As aPersonal Careryou’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities

In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing

Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan

Supporting with community based recreational and social activities

Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.

Role requirements:
