Job summary

Resthaven on Quarry in Queensland is seeking a casual Personal Care Worker to support residents with a person-centred approach, daily living activities, and emotional wellbeing.

Join a trusted aged care provider offering a warm, purpose-built home, supportive team, and access to on-site training and development opportunities.

You will work closely with residents to maintain dignity and comfort, following the approved Care Plan, and contributing to a calm and respectful living environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (mandatory).
• NDIS Worker Clearance (mandatory).
• Experience providing personal care in an aged care setting.
• Passion for delivering person-centred care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Responsibilities

• Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
• Personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral/dental care and continence care.
• Mobility support with aids and falls prevention.
• Eating and drinking with awareness of dietary requirements.
• Basic skin care including repositioning and applying skin creams.

Resthaven is thoughtfully designed to support quality care delivery. Staff enjoy working in a purpose-built setting featuring bay windows, garden views, and modern amenities including individually controlled air-conditioning. The home also features spacious communal lounge and dining areas, supporting a collaborative and comfortable workplace.

Your Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a positive resident experience in providing a person-centred approach to care. Working Casual, you will foster a collaborative approach in supporting our residents with all aspects of their daily needs and emotional wellbeing, essentially creating what we believe will enable older people to live their best lives.

Duties Include:

• Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
• Personal care, including but not limited to: Personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care.

You will bring:

• A Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying)-mandatory
• NDIS Worker Clearance–mandatory
• Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting
