Job summary

Churches Of Christ Queensland in Little Mountain, QLD is seeking a dedicated Personal Care Worker to provide direct, person-centred care for residents in a supportive, values-driven setting.

You will assist with daily living, support emotional wellbeing, and work closely with nurses and the care team to maintain dignity and comfort. Full-time permanent role with salary packaging and annual leave.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Current National Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Basic computer skills (email and internet).
• Australian working rights (no sponsorship).
• First Aid and CPR certificates desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care, hygiene, mobility, and meals.
• Supporting residents' emotional wellbeing and helping with social activities.
• Maintaining dignity, privacy, and respect for our residents at all times.
• Completing daily care charts and reporting any changes in health to the Nurses.
• Working collaboratively with the broader team to support a high standard of care delivery.

Desirable

• Previous experience in a direct care role within aged care
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates
