Job summary

For Purpose Aged Care in New South Wales is seeking a Resident Care & Wellbeing Assistant to provide daily personal care and support to residents, grounded in empathy and respect.

You will keep accurate records, communicate professionally with residents, families and staff, and maintain privacy while responding to changing needs. The role offers flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights within a friendly, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Cert III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support (Ageing) is required.
• Recent National Police Check (issued within 12 months).
• Genuine empathy that shines through your care.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• A true team player who thrives on collaboration.
• Passion for continuous learning and improvement.
• Whole-person awareness (physical, social, emotional).
• Excellent time management and tech skills.
• Sharp clinical judgment and problem-solving ability.
