Job summary

Aged & Community Services Australia seeks a Personal Care Worker for Kiama's 135-bed Blue Haven aged care facility. Part-time shifts include morning, afternoon, and night options.

You will assist residents with activities of daily living, build positive relationships, and deliver compassionate, person-centred care while collaborating with nurses and staff.

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Personal Care Worker / Assistant in Nursing in residential aged care.
• Motivated, flexible, reliable and willing to work a variety of shifts.
• Personable, respectful, and with strong communication and customer service skills.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and influenza vaccination (or willing to obtain).
• Working rights in Australia (sponsorship will not be offered).

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living at our 135 bed Blue Haven aged care facility in Kiama.
• Develop positive relationships and deliver excellent customer service to facilitate a pleasant home environment.
• Complete comprehensive progress notes that accurately reflect residents' care.
