Calvary Elouera in Torquay VIC is seeking dedicated Personal Care Workers to join our team. This permanent part-time role focuses on compassionate resident support and delivering high-quality aged care services.

Applicants should have Certificate Level III (Individual Support), strong communication, and proven experience in aged care or healthcare settings. Training, development pathways and flexible hours are offered within a supportive team environment.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents to live the life they choose, exercising choice and independence.
• Lead one-on-one activities aligned to each resident's care plan.
• Contribute to residents' physical, emotional and lifestyle needs through assessment and observation.
• Deliver personal care tasks within an established framework (hygiene, grooming, continence).
• Assist residents who require mobility support as per the care plan.

Your main duties will include:

• Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
• Assist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being inclusive of hobbies and interests that are aligned to the care plan
• Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs and wants of the residents, through assessment and observation
• Works within an established and agreed framework to deliver a range of personal care tasks, including but not limited to daily hygiene for example showering,shaving, dressing, mouth and eye care and continence management
• Assist residents who require assistance with mobility as per care plan

About you

• Certificate Level III (Individual Support)
• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality
