Calvary Aged Care in Torquay VIC is seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers to join our dedicated team. This permanent part-time role focuses on supporting residents with daily living, dignity and choice, aligned to individual care plans.

You will work closely with residents, assist with mobility, hygiene and engagement, and contribute to a warm, respectful environment. Calvary offers salary packaging, benefits and ongoing development within a supportive team.

Formación

• Certificate Level III (Individual Support).
• Effective interpersonal communication, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workloads.
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control.
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role in aged care, health care or hospitality.

Responsabilidades

• Support residents to live the life they choose, allowing them to exercise choice and independence.
• Assist the resident in one-on-one activities that support their well-being, including hobbies aligned to the care plan.
• Contributes to the physical, emotional and lifestyle needs of residents through assessment and observation.
• Deliver a range of personal care tasks within an established framework, including daily hygiene (showering, shaving, dressing, mouth/eye care) and continence management.
• Assist residents who require mobility assistance as per care plan.

Your main duties will include:

• Support residents to live the life they choose allowing them to exercise choice and independence
