Job summary

Nepean Hospital is seeking a qualified Plumber to join the Total Asset Maintenance Team in a permanent full‑time role. You will perform corrective and preventive maintenance on plumbing and hydraulic systems across domestic, commercial and institutional settings, and participate in after‑hours roster.

Applicants must hold current trade qualifications in plumbing and gas fitting, read plans, and be able to work safely with minimal supervision. NBMLHD promotes diversity and inclusive practice.

Qualifications

• Current trade qualifications in plumbing and gas fitting.
• Knowledge of WHS Act and regulations; Australian standards.
• Ability to read plans, specifications and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform corrective and preventive maintenance of plumbing and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out installations and extensions as required.
• Review hydraulic drawings for NBMLHD projects.
• Contribute to after-hours emergency maintenance roster.
