Job summary

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Maintenance Plumber to provide day-to-day plumbing maintenance across St George Hospital site and Community Health centre sites. The role covers minor and major plumbing works, repairs, installations, inspections, operation and repair of plumbing equipment and systems to meet maintenance objectives efficiently.

Applicants should have a current driver’s licence and be willing to travel as required.

Qualifications

• Current drivers licence and willingness to travel as required.
• Applicants will be assessed against essential requirements and selection criteria.
• Demonstrated plumbing experience in maintenance of large building complexes and facility maintenance, preferably hospitals, and proven ability to work with a multidisciplinary team of trade, non-trade, and contract staff to efficiently deliver maintenance services in a busy work environment.

• Provide day-to-day plumbing maintenance services across hospital and community health sites.
• Carry out minor/major plumbing works, repairs and installations.
• Inspect, operate and repair plumbing equipment and systems to ensure reliability and efficiency.

Job description

The Position of Maintenance Plumber is to provide the day to day plumbing maintenance services including minor/major plumbing works, repairs, installation, inspections, operation and repair of plumbing equipment and systems throughout the St George Hospital site and Community Health centre sites to ensure the maintenance objectives are met in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
