Job summary

Journey Early Learning Nightcliff is seeking a warm, Certificate III or Diploma-qualified Educator to join our Nursery team. You’ll help create a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe and supported to learn and grow.

Collaborating with a friendly Lead Educator and team, you’ll deliver play-based, EYLF-aligned experiences, support routines, document observations and contribute to planning while building strong relationships with children and families.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care required.
• Nursery or baby-room experience highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of responsive care and play-based learning.

Responsibilities

Journey Early Learning Nightcliff is looking for a passionate Certificate III or Diploma-qualified Educator to join our Nursery team.

You’ll help create a calm, nurturing environment where babies feel safe, secure and supported to learn and grow. Working alongside a supportive team, you’ll build meaningful relationships with children and families while providing responsive, individualised care.

Permanent Position | Nursery Room | Monday to Friday

About The Role

As a Nursery Educator, you’ll:

• Create nurturing, play-based learning experiences aligned with the EYLF
• Support each child’s individual routines, development and wellbeing
• Build secure and meaningful relationships with babies and their families
• Contribute to observations, planning and documentation
• Work closely with your Lead Educator and wider team
• Create a calm, safe and engaging Nursery environment
• Support children as they explore, develop and reach important early milestones

About You

We’re looking for a warm, caring and reliable educator who genuinely enjoys working with babies and supporting their early development.

You’ll Bring

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Previous Nursery or baby-room experience highly regarded
• A strong understanding of responsive care and play-based learning
• A nurturing and relationship-focused approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates
• Current Working with Children Clearance
• Completed National Child Safety Training
