About the role

Nurtured Education and Care is a boutique centre conveniently located in Gladesville, close to transport and with parking available.

We're seeking an experienced Certificate 3, Diploma or Early Childhood Teacher to join our growing team. As an educator, you will be responsible for working in a positive cultured team in delivering excellence in early childhood to children between ages of 0-6 years. This is a full-time role with opportunities for ongoing professional development and career progression.

We are committed to supporting each child to learn and develop in a safe and inclusive environment, working closely with families to ensure children’s health, safety and wellbeing. We support and emphasise the rights and best interests of the child as paramount as the children are at the centre of all our decision making at the service.

What you’ll be doing

• Ensuring a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for children
• Plan and implement high-quality educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework
• Support your team of educators, fostering their professional growth and development
• Build strong relationships with children and their families, promoting open communication and collaborative partnerships
• Maintain accurate records and comply with all regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the centre management team to continuously improve service quality and outcomes for children

What we’re looking for

• Certificate 3, Diploma in Early Childhoodor Bachelor of Early Childhood
• Minimum 1 year experience as a Room Educator in a childcare setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing a team effectively
• Passion for early childhood education and a deep understanding of developmentally appropriate practices
• Commitment to upholding high standards of care and service delivery
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma management certificates
• Working with Children Check
