Job summary

Children First Early Education Walkervale is seeking Trainee Educators (Certificate III or Diploma) to join our team and support the educational program for children in a safe, inclusive learning environment.

You will work towards a Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services, hold a current Blue Card and First Aid/Anaphylaxis/Asthma qualifications, and have experience in an early childhood setting. Part-time or casual positions with above‑award wages and benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Certificate III (studying towards) or Diploma qualification in Children’s Services as approved by ACECQA.
• Current Blue Card, approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications.
• Experience in an early childhood setting.
• A sound understanding of the EYLF and NQF.

Responsibilities

• Creating and maintaining an inclusive, fun, safe, healthy, productive and effective learning environment.
• Developing and maintaining positive relationships with children, families, colleagues, and the broader community.
• Ensuring all health, safety and centre policies are adhered to along with licensing, legislation & regulations.
• Contributing to the effective operation of the workplace by supporting colleagues, sharing ideas and information and working collaboratively in our team.
• You will implement the educational program and experiences to meet the individual needs of our children.
