Job summary

D4C, Delivering 4 Customers, is seeking a proactive People & Culture partner to support a safe, engaged and high-performing workforce across Sydney Water projects and project sites.

You will drive core processes (onboarding, probation, performance checks, mobility, offboarding), handle employee relations with fairness, coach leaders, and partner with payroll to maintain accurate data while contributing to recruitment, training and organisational change.

Qualifications

• Experience partnering with leaders to support a safe, engaged and high-performing workforce.
• Knowledge of industrial instruments and industrial frameworks.
• Ability to manage employee relations fairly with sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding, probation, performance checks, mobility and offboarding.
• Triage day-to-day people queries; provide practical support.
• Manage employee relations with fairness and records.
• Coach leaders through difficult conversations.
• Coordinate with People Services and payroll for data and contracts.
• Support recruitment, training, and organisational change.
• Use workforce metrics to identify issues and improve.
• Maintain visibility across sites to build trust.
• Handle records, follow-ups, reports and updates.
• Promote a safe, inclusive workplace and policy compliance.
