Job summary

Novotel Surfers Paradise, part of Accor, seeks a highly organised People & Culture Coordinator to manage employee lifecycle administration and deliver internal support. You will handle contracts, onboarding, records, payroll tooling, and compliance in a fast-paced hospitality setting.

Reporting to the People & Culture Manager, you will contribute to a smooth HR operation, support visa checks, and coordinate training, all while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy across HR systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in administration, coordination, HR administration, or office support.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Preparing employment contracts, letters, and employee documentation.
• Coordinating onboarding administration, including orientation and uniform allocation.
• Maintaining employee records and HR systems with confidentiality.
• Assisting with payroll system administration.
• Managing employee files and compliance requirements.
• Coordinating training bookings and maintaining training records.
• Supporting visa, work rights, and employment compliance checks.
• Coordinating offboarding activities and producing HR reports.
• Providing general administrative support to the People & Culture team.
