Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, colleagues and the community.
• Behaviours and attitudes consistent with Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students; plan, prepare and teach programs to achieve outcomes.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and monitor progress, providing feedback to students and parents.
• Contribute to school policies, program development and professional learning initiatives.
• Engage with the school community, including parents, colleagues and external partners to support wellbeing and engagement.
• Undertake other duties consistent with salary range, qualifications, and school priorities.
