Wyndham Park Primary School in Victoria seeks a classroom teacher to plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons focused on literacy and numeracy, and to respond to diverse student learning needs. The role emphasizes evidence-based instruction, data-informed practice, and ongoing professional development within a government school setting.

The successful candidate will model high-quality teaching, participate in school improvement initiatives, and collaborate with staff to support student growth

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies and evaluating teaching impact.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with stakeholders including students, parents and staff.
• Behaviours aligned with Department values and commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Responsabilités

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and program evaluation.
• Undertake other teaching and organisational duties as required by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Engage in non-teaching supervisory duties as needed.
