Job summary

Pentarch Group is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to manage end-to-end payroll across multiple entities from our Southbank head office. The role offers a permanent full-time contract with a flexible hybrid arrangement, three days in the office and two days at home.

You will process weekly and fortnightly payroll, ensure legislative compliance, manage timesheets, resolve discrepancies, and provide timely payroll support to site teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in end-to-end payroll processing within a complex environment.
• Proficiency in payroll systems and software.
• Knowledge of Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements, and related legislation.
• Ability to maintain high accuracy and compliance in payroll data.
• Experience processing timesheets/clock cards for shift workers is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile end-to-end pay runs, manage timesheets and payroll deductions.
• Assist with preparation of State and Federal tax obligations and Superannuation contributions.
• Maintain staff records and changes to employment details.
• Run and analyse payroll reports.
• Collaborate with teams on General Ledger inquiries and compliance.
• Assist with payroll audits and compliance testing.
