Automic Group is seeking an experienced Senior Payroll Officer based in Sydney to own end-to-end payroll across multiple entities. This part-time role covers approximately 350 employees and includes fortnightly casual payroll processing on Tuesdays.

You will strengthen payroll controls, ensure compliance with Australian legislation, and collaborate with Finance and People & Culture. Hybrid working with flexible arrangement across three days is offered.

Formación

• At least three years of end-to-end payroll experience in medium to large organisations.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, STP and statutory obligations.
• Experience preparing payroll journals and reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with payroll/HR systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own monthly payroll for ~350 employees across multiple entities.
• Process starters, terminations, and changes in partnership with People & Culture.
• Ensure PAYG withholding, superannuation, payroll tax and STP reporting.
• Prepare payroll journals and management reports.
• Respond to employee payroll queries with accuracy and empathy.
• Identify improvements to payroll processes and systems.
