Job summary

Michael Page is supporting a leading healthcare organisation in Melbourne's south eastern suburbs with a temporary Payroll Officer role. You will contribute to payroll processing, data validation, and system transitions in a high-volume environment.

Hybrid work arrangement (2-3 days in the office) with flexible hours and exposure to HRIS systems such as SuccessFactors and UKG. Immediate start opportunity and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll processing and accuracy.
• Ability to review payroll data and resolve discrepancies.
• Experience maintaining confidential employee information.
• Strong communication with employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with finance and HR teams for accuracy.
• Organised and able to meet competing deadlines.
• Experience using HRIS systems, with SuccessFactors/UKG a plus.
• Experience supporting payroll projects or transitions.

Responsibilities

• Support payroll processing to ensure timely employee payments.
• Assist with payroll data validation, reconciliations and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records and employee documentation per policies.
• Respond to payroll enquiries from employees and stakeholders.
• Update employee payroll information across systems.
• Assist with payroll reporting and audit requirements.
• Support payroll integration and system transitions.
• Collaborate with the payroll team to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
