Job summary

Adbri Limited in Adelaide is seeking a Payroll Officer to manage weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles across multiple entities. You will handle changes, timesheets, and payroll adjustments while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires experience with Awards/Enterprise Agreements, strong numeracy, and intermediate Excel skills. You will collaborate with the Payroll team to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in an end-to-end Payroll Officer role.
• Experience processing payroll under Awards and/or Enterprise Agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and numeracy; confident with numbers.
• Intermediate Excel skills and ability to learn new systems.
• Experience with timesheets, time and attendance processes.

Responsibilities

• Processing weekly and fortnightly payroll cycles from preparation through to pay day
• Managing employee changes including new starters, bank account and superannuation details
• Reviewing and processing timesheets, time and attendance information and payroll adjustments
• Responding to payroll queries and providing timely support to employees and internal stakeholders
• Completing payroll and superannuation reconciliations as required
• Maintaining accurate employee payroll information and records
• Working closely with the wider Payroll team to meet critical payroll deadlines
• Adapting to changing priorities and supporting different payroll cycles as required
