Job summary

Centurion is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join the team at our Perth depot. With a minimum of two years in payroll, you will help ensure employees are paid accurately and on time while supporting the transition from PayGlobal to Dayforce.

You will manage end-to-end payroll, maintain records, respond to payroll enquiries, and stay compliant with relevant legislation and company policies. The role offers growth within a national business and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a payroll role.
• Experience processing payroll in a medium to large organisation.
• PayGlobal experience highly regarded.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good understanding of payroll processes, compliance and legislation.
• Willingness to learn new payroll systems and processes.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end payroll accurately and efficiently within deadlines.
• Maintain accurate employee payroll records and update data.
• Handle payroll enquiries with timely, professional support.
• Ensure compliance with legislation, awards and policies.
• Process new starters, terminations, leave, allowances and deductions.
• Complete payroll reconciliations and assist reporting.
• Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure payroll information accuracy.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data.
• Assist with PayGlobal to Dayforce transition incl. testing and training.
