Job summary

Environmental Jobs is seeking a Payroll Manager based in Sydney CBD to lead end-to-end payroll operations. You will ensure accurate and timely employee compensation while maintaining regulatory compliance and data security.

You will collaborate with HR, prepare reports for management and regulators, and coordinate with an outsourced payroll provider as needed. A minimum of five years in payroll management and a relevant degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in payroll management, preferably in utilities.
• Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and compliance.
• Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end payroll processes with accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and regulators.
• Ensure timely salary payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain payroll records with data integrity and confidentiality.
