Job summary

Achieve Australia is seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to lead our payroll operations and ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant delivery of payroll services. This role is responsible for award interpretation, statutory compliance, payroll system management, and driving process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience.

This role has a direct reporting line into the General Manager, Finance and Corporate Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant subject areas.
• 5+ years relevant experience in similar role with proven experience managing end-to-end payroll in a complex organization, ideally within Disability Services or NDIS environment.
• Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with payroll systems and rostering platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the payroll team to deliver high-quality services.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration and deliver training on payroll systems.
• Oversee end-to-end payroll cycles ensuring compliance with legislation, awards, and policies.
• Collaborate with Corporate Services and other teams to optimise workflows and drive business partnering.
