Job summary

Carrington Care is seeking a Payroll Manager/Specialist to lead payroll operations for ~800 staff across services in an onsite role. You will drive governance, compliance and system improvements while partnering with Finance & HR to ensure accurate, timely payroll processing and robust internal controls.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience overseeing payroll in a medium to large organisation.
• Deep knowledge of payroll compliance and industrial instruments.
• Analytical mindset with data interpretation and reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency with payroll systems and data controls.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check and work in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the payroll team to deliver accurate, timely payroll services.
• Manage end-to-end payroll for ~800 employees across service streams.
• Ensure compliance with obligations and enterprise agreements.
• Provide payroll system configuration, data integrity and access controls.
• Deliver strategic reporting including labour cost trends and forecasts.
• Maintain payroll business continuity and cross-training.
