Job summary

RSL Care SA is seeking an experienced payroll professional to join the Finance Team and deliver end-to-end payroll processing for a fortnightly cycle. You will maintain employee records, ensure compliance with Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and respond to payroll enquiries from staff and managers.

Reporting to the Senior Payroll and Systems Lead, you will work collaboratively to reconcile, report, and support EOFY processes while handling deductions, entitlements and payroll related

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in bookkeeping or payroll preferred, not essential.
• Experience in not-for-profit, aged care or similarly regulated environments preferred.
• NDIS Worker Check or ability to obtain one if successful.
• Strong knowledge of Modern Awards and Enterprise Agreements.

Responsibilities

• Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis including entitlements, leave, deductions, allowances, overtime and salary packaging.
• Reviewing payroll calculations and employee records to ensure accuracy and compliance with awards, agreements and legislative requirements.
• Responding to payroll enquiries from employees, managers and external stakeholders, coordinating with Finance, Rostering and Recruitment.
• Setting up new employees, maintaining payroll and roster information, and processing changes and terminations.
• Preparing fortnightly and monthly payroll reports, reconciliations and journals, and supporting EOFY and audit processes.
• Preparing and reconciling superannuation, PAYG, STP, WorkCover and other payroll-related payments and deductions.
