Job summary

Carrington Centennial Care is seeking a Payroll Manager to lead a team responsible for accurate, timely payroll across ~800 employees in a not-for-profit care environment. You will drive governance, compliance and system improvements, reporting to the Executive Manager - Finance & IT, and work with Finance & HR to uphold financial integrity.

The role is full-time and onsite, with a base salary package plus leave loading, superannuation and NFP salary packaging.

Qualifications

• Experience leading payroll operations for a medium to large organisation.
• Knowledge of Fair Work Act, NES and Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
• Strong data integrity and internal controls.
• Experience with audits of payroll compliance.
• Willingness to obtain NDIS Worker Check.

Responsibilities

• Lead payroll team to deliver accurate, timely and compliant payroll services.
• Manage end-to-end payroll delivery for approximately 800 employees across all service streams.
• Ensure payroll practices comply with obligations, including Enterprise Agreement interpretation.
• Provide strategic payroll reporting and forecasting, including labour cost trends.
• Maintain a payroll business continuity plan and risk controls.
