Job summary

Ampol Group is seeking a Payroll Data & Transition Specialist for a 12-month contract. You’ll apply deep payroll expertise in a project, systems and data environment, bridging payroll with transition and integration needs across SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel.

You will work with stakeholders to prepare for onboarding a payroll environment, focusing on complex data, reconciliation, compliance and workforce change activity.

Qualifications

• Deep end-to-end payroll knowledge, including legislation and entitlements.
• Hands-on SAP experience, ideally ECC Payroll, HCM or HR.
• Excel skills and payroll data analysis capability.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, transforming and reconciling data.
• Experience with redundancy and entitlement calculations.
• Ability to interpret awards and apply to payroll scenarios.
• Payroll transition, integration or transformation experience is desirable.
• Experience interpreting audit outcomes and remediation planning.

Responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, transform and validate complex payroll data for project needs.
• Prepare system upload files and support payroll data across SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel.
• Analyse large payroll datasets, identify anomalies and impacts.
• Perform redundancy and entitlement calculations with compliance in mind.
• Interpret awards and assess payroll impacts across scenarios.
• Undertake scenario modelling to understand workforce effects.
• Support remediation planning from payroll audits.
• Provide payroll SME expertise across acquisition, integration and transition.
• Collaborate with payroll, project and systems stakeholders to translate data into outcomes.
• Ensure payroll datasets are accurate, validated and fit for project use.
