Job summary

Ampol Group is seeking a Payroll Data & Transition Specialist to support the integration of payroll systems and data during a 12-month project. The role focuses on complex data, system reconciliations and compliance, working closely with payroll and project stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will bring deep payroll knowledge, strong SAP experience, and expertise with data transformation and validation across SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel. Hybrid work options are available across Australia.

Qualifications

• Deep end-to-end payroll knowledge including legislation and entitlements.
• Hands-on SAP experience, preferably SAP ECC Payroll, SAP HCM or SAP HR.
• Excel data analysis and payroll data manipulation.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating and reconciling payroll data.
• Experience with redundancy and entitlement calculations.

Responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, transform and validate complex payroll data for project/system needs.
• Prepare system upload files and support payroll data requirements across SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel.
• Analyze and reconcile large payroll datasets, identify anomalies, risks and downstream impacts.
• Perform redundancy and employee entitlement calculations with legislative compliance.
• Interpret awards and assess payroll impacts across scenarios.
• Undertake scenario modelling for payroll/workforce impacts.
• Support remediation planning from payroll audit outcomes.
• Provide payroll SME expertise across acquisition, integration, transition and workforce change.
• Partner with payroll, project and systems stakeholders to translate complex information into payroll outcomes.
• Ensure payroll datasets are accurate, validated and fit for project/system use.
