Job summary

Ampol is seeking a Payroll Data & Transition Specialist to support a 12-month payroll system integration. This role focuses on complex data, reconciliation, compliance and workforce change, not routine payroll processing.

You will work with SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel to analyse data, perform transformations, and ensure accurate system uploads for a smooth payroll transition across ERP environments.

Qualifications

• Deep end-to-end payroll knowledge including legislation, compliance and entitlements.
• Hands-on SAP experience, ideally SAP ECC Payroll, SAP HCM or SAP HR.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel and payroll data analysis capabilities.
• Experience extracting, cleansing, transforming, validating and reconciling payroll data.

Responsibilities

• Extract, cleanse, transform and validate complex payroll data for project needs.
• Prepare system upload files for SAP, SuccessFactors, UKG and Excel.
• Analyse large payroll datasets and identify anomalies and risks.
• Perform redundancy and entitlement calculations with legislative considerations.
• Interpret awards and assess payroll impacts across scenarios.
• Model scenarios to understand payroll and workforce effects.
• Support remediation planning from payroll audits.
• Provide payroll SME expertise across acquisition, integration and transition.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex data into payroll outcomes.
• Ensure datasets are accurate and fit for project use.
