Job summary

ACESGroup is seeking a Payroll Officer to join our Finance team, split between payroll administration (3.5 days) and accounts payable (1.5 days). The role is based in Campbelltown or Redfern and is office-based during the 6-month probation period.

You will process payroll for a 1000+ staff, handle queries, and support finance tasks with attention to detail. You will contribute to system upgrade projects and gain opportunities for more analytical work, while collaborating with internal

Qualifications

• Experience processing payroll in a high-volume environment (1000+ employees) is highly regarded.
• Exposure to payroll and accounts payable.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an accounts or finance role.
• Experience with MYOB or similar accounting systems is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing for a large workforce; maintain payroll data and reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable including supplier invoices and payments; support finance admin tasks.
• Respond to payroll queries and maintain payroll records; generate payroll reports.
• Support finance system upgrades and provide insights to the business.
