Smartgroup Corporation seeks a Client Payments & Reconciliation Team Leader to guide a high-performing team delivering accurate client payments, reconciliations and reporting. You will coach staff, manage workloads and ensure service levels are met while driving continuous process improvements.

Based in South Australia, the role emphasizes leadership, governance and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to enhance client experience and financial controls.

Qualificações

• Experience leading and developing operational teams.
• Strong leadership, coaching and resource-management capabilities.
• Experience in payments, reconciliation, accounting or finance operations.
• Strong analytical and strategic-thinking skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and critical deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
• Experience preparing clear business or client reporting.
• Forecast workloads and plan resource requirements.
• Experience contributing to process-improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support, coach and develop team members to achieve goals.
• Conduct regular one-to-one and team meetings, training and coaching.
• Manage workloads and allocate resources for coverage.
• Ensure internal and vendor payments are processed accurately and within service levels.
• Oversee timely reconciliation, allocation and reporting of payments.
• Analyse team performance and drive productivity improvements.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks; support process simplification.
• Lead projects to improve efficiency and customer service.
• Recruit and onboard team members as needed.
• Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
