Job summary

Smartgroup in South Australia is seeking a Senior Client Payments & Reconciliations Coordinator for a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will manage and reconcile allocated client bank accounts, process salary packaging payments, EFT files and BPAY transactions, and produce client and vendor reporting.

You will investigate variances and anomalies, resolve complex financial issues, and provide guidance and support to team members while ensuring compliance with financial policies and service

Qualifications

• Experience in reconciliations, financial operations, or client finance roles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience investigating discrepancies and resolving complex financial issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile allocated client bank accounts and financial transactions
• Investigate and resolve reconciliation variances and anomalies
• Process salary packaging payments, EFT files and BPAY transactions
• Produce and distribute client and vendor reporting
• Support the timely resolution of client and business queries
• Manage escalations, complaints and complex reconciliation issues
• Provide technical guidance and support to team members
• Maintain compliance with financial policies, procedures and service standards
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and operational efficiency
