Metro North Health is seeking a Shift Supervisor - Patient Support Services at Redcliffe Hospital to lead day-to-day coordination of Patient Support Services staff across day and afternoon shifts. You will oversee rostering, staff performance, service quality, compliance and provide relief supervision as required, contributing to a safe, welcoming healthcare environment for patients, visitors and staff.

Competenze

Coordinate and supervise Patient Support Services staff to ensure operational services are delivered safely, effectively and in compliance with quality, workplace health and safety and legislative requirements.
Support accurate rostering, leave management, staff performance processes and performance development reviews within approved staffing establishments.
Provide leadership, mentoring and in-service training to staff while promoting teamwork, service excellence and compliance with mandatory training requirements.
Investigate and manage service complaints and concerns, prepare operational reports and contribute to quality improvement, auditing and service monitoring activities.
Build positive relationships with staff and stakeholders through effective communication, conflict resolution and participation in emergency response activities when required.
