Mater is seeking a Guest Services Supervisor to lead cleaning, patient transport, linen and related services at South Brisbane. The role requires flexibility for am/pm shifts, weekends and nights and offers a not-for-profit salary packaging option plus staff benefits.

You will coordinate multiple service streams, supervise a diverse team and ensure training, compliance and high standards of cleanliness across hospital facilities, while supporting patients, staff and external customers.

Formación

• Experience leading and managing a large diverse team.
• Health / Aged Care or Hotel management experience in housekeeping or cleaning would be desirable.
• Ability to ensure services achieve standards and KPIs.
• Experience in leadership within a large diverse team.
• Strategic outlook and capability to engage with operational staff.
• Creativity, agility, and a commitment to continuous learning.
• Advanced written and oral communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate cleaning, patient transport, linen and waste functions and day-to-day operations.
• Plan, organise, assign and supervise work of diverse staff.
• Ensure service levels are maintained through effective staff management.
• Ensure training for staff is compliant.
• Ensure regulatory and infectious control compliance and WHS standards.
• Maintain high standards of hospital cleanliness across patient areas and facilities.
• Respond to customer needs with information and guidance on service policies.
• Act as content expert for cleaning and linen processes and advise on requirements.
• Implement department policies and delegate tasks appropriately.
• Manage compliance, risk, audits and corrective actions.
• Identify and rectify WHS concerns within the team.
