Job summary

Connected Well P/L is seeking a friendly and reliable medical receptionist to join a Canowindra GP-support team. The role covers reception, patient scheduling, and administrative support for a small clinic, with full training provided.

The position is full-time on a roster with a potential move to part-time for the right candidate. Experience with computers and fluent typing is expected, CPR certification would be a plus, and the ability to work autonomously within a cooperative team is

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with patients on behalf of the GP.
• Manage patient interactions and expectations.
• Reception on clinic days and phone reception sessions.
• Manage incoming and outgoing communications.
• Engage with the patient journey including recalls and reminders.
• Liaise with other health professionals and medical organisations.
• Learn sections of the Medical Benefits Schedule applicable to General Practice.
• Pre- and post-clinic setup and pack-up.
