Dorevitch Pathology, part of Healius, is hiring Pathology Collectors to interact with patients, collect blood and specimens, and help deliver high-quality diagnostic services within local communities.

Ideal candidates will hold a Certificate III in Pathology Collection or be a Registered Nurse with venepuncture experience, and demonstrate strong communication and independent work abilities in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pathology Collector or as a Registered Nurse with venepuncture experience.
• Certificate III in Pathology Collection is required.

Responsabilités

• Welcome patients, manage waiting room and explain collection procedures.
• Perform venepuncture and collect pathology specimens.
• Conduct diagnostic tests such as ECGs and Holter monitoring as required.
• Maintain accurate patient records and specimen registers.
• Prepare and package specimens for transport to laboratories.
